This Privacy Policy explains how Shawn Williams ("DahlDays," "we," or "us") handles information when you access dahldays.com and the DahlDays Musical Chairs and Music IQ browser games.

Information handled by the browser game

The current single-player web demo does not require a DahlDays user account. When you choose an audio file from your device, the browser plays that file locally; the demo is not designed to upload your audio to our servers. The demo may store your high score in browser local storage. You can clear this through your browser settings.

Music IQ trivia

Music IQ runs in your browser without an account. It stores personal best scores and recently answered question identifiers in browser local storage. Answers are not sent to a DahlDays server. Sharing a score happens only when you choose to share or copy it. Related video links open YouTube in a new tab; the trivia game does not embed YouTube players or load YouTube media. If you follow a link, YouTube processes information under its own privacy policy.

Hosting and technical information

Our website is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. These hosting providers may process technical data, such as IP address, browser type, timestamps and security logs, to deliver and protect the website. We have not yet added advertising trackers or analytics to this prototype.

TikTok and other third-party services

This web prototype does not currently connect your TikTok account or transmit game data to TikTok. If we later launch a TikTok-native Mini Game or connect additional services, we will update this policy to describe the actual data collected, the third parties involved, and their respective privacy terms before launch.

Children's privacy

The current prototype is intended for a general audience and does not ask players to submit personal information. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through the game. Please contact us if you believe personal information has been provided to us by a child.

Data sharing and retention

We do not sell player information through the prototype. Locally stored high scores remain in your browser until removed. Technical hosting logs, if any, are retained according to the hosting provider's policies and settings.

Your choices

You can decline to select a local audio file, clear local storage, and stop using the website. For questions or privacy requests contact shawn1587@gmail.com.

We may update this policy as the website and game evolve. Material changes to data use will be reflected here.
